If you just want to order one product at the time, choose a product from the page with an overview of all products and follow the flow (you don't need this tutorial).
This tutorial deals with the "expert mode" for uploading and is quite extensive. For a quick overview, click here to see a short video on uploading and ordering.
To upload files in "expert mode", you must be signed in first.
Click on the "Upload" icon in the right upper corner of the page and you will enter the page shown below.
On the left of the screen you see "Regular HTML upload", "Flash upload" and "FTP". We will not deal with FTP here. This is an option for customers that frequently upload large files.
The "Regular HTML upload" is the default and is the best option for old browsers and 64bit browsers (that do not support Flash). If you are not sure, use this option. The disadvantage is that you can only upload 1 file at the time.
Click on "Browse" or click in the empty field.
Now you will see an explorer window popping up, allowing you to select a file from your computer. Select the file you want to upload (with a single left mouse click) and press the "Open" button at the lower right of the window. Alternatively you can select the file with a double click.
You will return to the previous screen with the name of the file filled in the field that was empty before. Click on the red "upload" button and you will see appearing indicating that the upload started.
Do not close the page while the upload is taking place. When the upload has finished, you will see this:
Now we add some more files with a small Flash application. Click on the "Flash based upload" link on the left side of the page. It will take a few seconds and then the program is loaded. Click on "Select Files" to start selecting photos for uploading.
A window will pop-up allowing you to browse your computer for photos to select. As long as you stay in one directory you can select as many photos as you like. Start by clicking with the left mouse button on the 1st file to select. For every other file to select you should first hold the Ctrl-key and then select the file with your left mouse button. If you don't hold the Ctrl-key when selecting more files, your previous selection will be undone. Click on the "Open" button when you're done making the selection.
The following screen will appear and you will see that uploading of the selected files started immediately:
You should not close this window while the uploading is in progress. While the upload is in progress you can click on "Select Files" again to add more files. As soon as files are uploaded you will see thumbnails of these files added to the lower section of the page (thumbnails are created for JPG files, but not for most other file formats).
Once all files are uploaded, click on the red "next" button:
