How to conclude an order

This tutorial is quite extensive. For a quick overview, click here to see a short video (Quicktime) on uploading and ordering.

There are roughly three different situations when concluding an order:

  1. The total order amount is below 10.00 EUR and no pre-payment is required;

  2. You want to make a pre-payment for the order and  your account balance is higher then the pre-payment amount;
  3. You want to make a pre-payment for the order and  your account balance is (zero or) less then the pre-payment amount.

Note that pre-payment in all cases is beneficial to you. If you pre-pay 50% of an order than your receive a discount of 5%. If you pre-pay 100% of an order, you will receive a discount of 10% on the order amount.

In this tutorial we will also show you how you can manage your orders in your user profile. Click here to go directly to this part of the tutorial.

 The total order amount is below 10.00 EUR and no pre-payment is required

If you don't have an account balance (or an account balance that is lower than the selected pre-payment option), the "Confirm order" page will look like pictured below.

If you select the first option, you don't have to pre-pay anything and you will receive no discount. If you click the red "Next" button, your order will be submitted.

With the second option you choose to pre-pay 50% and receive a 5% discount. Selecting the third option will have you pre-pay 100% and gives you a discount of 10%.  Click the red "Next" button to proceed to the payment page. Go to the "Make a payment" tutorial to see how this works.

Note that you can edit your order. It will bring you back to the page for giving instructions. If you edit your order, make sure that you add all instructions to your basket, before proceeding to the check-out again.

If you do have an account balance with a balance higher than the order amount, the "Confirm order" page will look like pictured below.

If you select the first option, you don't have to pre-pay anything and you will receive no discount. If you click the red "Next" button, your order will be submitted.

With the second option you choose to pre-pay 50% and receive a 5% discount. Managing orders in the user profile

Once an order has been submitted you can monitor the status in the user profile. Here we see the order we just made: the order with order number 2627. We also see the status: "ordered". Note that the price mentioned is the gross order amount, excluding the discounts. You will find the discount and other details in the order details (see next step how to display them).

Once we have received the order, the order will be assigned. As soon as one of our editors starts working on it, the status will change to "Editing in progress". Click on the order number to retrieve the details.

Here you can see all the order details, including the thumbnails of the instructions and the discounts that were applied to the order. Click on the instruction to see the thumbnails of that instruction.

Order completed

When the order has been completed there are two options. If you had pre-paid the order for 100% you will receive an email and you can download the files we made for you. If you still need to make a payment for the order, you will receive an email with instructions for making a payment and with links to "watermarked" versions of the files we made for you.The email to inform you about the order completion looks like this:

If you go to your profile you will see that, in this example, order 2627 has been completed. Click on the order to see the order details.

In the order details you find the same links as in the email to the completed files.

Order completed but not paid in full yet

If you did not pre-pay the full order amount, you will first get another email:

Your profile will look like this. In the example we use order 2651 with the status "Delivered, pending payment". Click on the order number to proceed.

The links to the completed files on this pages are links to the watermarked versions. Click on the link in red saying "I want to pay the rest of this order" to proceed with paying the outstanding amount for your order.

The payment option that will be presented depends on the amount in your account balance. If the order amount is lower than your account balance, you will see this (when you click on the red "Next" button the payment will be made):

If the order amount is higher than your account balance but there is still some money left in your account (10 Euros in the example), you will see the page like shown below. After clicking on the red "Next" button you will be directed to the payment page. The tutorial on payment processing can be found here.

If there is no money left in your account, you will see the page like shown below. After clicking on the red "Next" button you will be directed to the payment page. The tutorial on payment processing can be found here.

Once your payment has been made, you will receive the emails and links with the final versions.

If you want you can continue with the tutorial on payment processing.
