Supported formats

We support almost all formats from camera manufacturers like: Canon, Casio, Contax, Epson, Fujifilm, Hasselblad (3FR), Kodak, Konica, Minolta, Leaf, Leica, Mamiya, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Phase One, Ricoh, Samsung, Sigma, Sony.

File formats supported include: 3FR, ARW, BAY, BMP, CR2, CAP, CRW, DNG, EIP, ERF, GIF, IIQ, JPG, KDC, MEF, MOS, MRW, NEF, ORF, PCX, PDF, PEF, PNG, PTX, RAF, RAW, RW2, RWL, SR2, SRF, TGA, TIF, X3F

Uploading

If you want to upload photos, first make sure you are signed in. Then click on the upload icon in the upper right corner of the screen or click here.


UPLOAD: Choose to upload the photos one by one with the regular HTML upload or choose to select multiple files with the flash based uploads. Once you have selected all the files to upload, click on the “next” button.

CREATE INSTRUCTIONS: Now you are on the “Instructions” page. This may seem a bit complicated in the beginning, but once you know how to do it, you will find that it gives you maximum flexibility in providing us with instructions.
You start with dragging one of the photos to the section below saying “Drag and drop a photo her for a new instruction”. You will see that immediately a new section is created in the upper half of your screen. It says: “Drag and drop photos here that need to be processed with the same instruction”. So, if you have several photos that need to be processed in the same way, drag and drop all of them to the same instruction.

SELECT SERVICE: For each instruction you have to select a service by clicking on the list box and make a choice between “Basic Service”, “Comprehensive Service”, “B/W Colorization” and “Extensive Service”. After you have made this selection, click on “>> Enter details” and a form will pop-up. If you click on it accidentally, just scroll down and click cancel to close the form.


ENTER DETAILS FORM: Specify as detailed and clearly as possible what you want us to do and click “SAVE” when you’re done.
When you’re ready specifying the instruction, click on the “add to basket” button, or when you are done with specifying all instructions, click on “Add all to basket” and click on “Proceed to checkout”.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE EXTENSIVE SERVICE AND OTHER SERVICES: For all services, except the extensive service, you can add as many photos as you like to the same instruction. Example: if you have 10 photos that you want to be converted to black & white, you add them to the same instruction, select “comprehensive service” , open the form with “>> enter details” and tick the checkbox “Convert from color to black and white”.
For the extensive service you can only upload photos to the same instruction that need to be used for a photo montage. Example: you want us to change a background; you first add the photo with the main subject and then add the photo with the background to the same instruction. Then you select the “Extensive service” and enter the detailed instructions. Or another example: you want us to add a person to a group photo. You make a new instruction by dragging the photo to the section at the bottom of the page. The new instruction will now appear at the upper part of the screen and here you will drag and drop another photo with the person that needs to be added to the group photo.


In our forum we have added a tutorial with pictures and a video, showing you exactly how the uploading and the making of instructions work.

FTP Accounts

For customers who regularly upload files, it may be convenient to do so by uploading via FTP.

Once you have uploaded files via FTP, you login to the Pictorescue website, click on the upload icon (right upper corner) and click on FTP upload.  Then you will see all the files you uploaded and you can add the instructions for our editor and submit the orders.


FTP accounts can be requested via
customerservice@pictorescue.com


Please note that a deposit of 25 EUR is required for using an FTP account. You can use this deposit for your next order.

How long does it take to process my order?

Typically we process orders within 2 working days. Usually we will be faster, but sometimes it might take a bit longer. We regard the quality of our work as the most important asset. In case we have a sudden increase in orders, the importance of quality will come before the speed of delivery.


One exception: memorial photos, needed for a funeral and requested via memorial@pictorescue.com, will always be processed immediately.

Pictorescue changes its pricing  for the first time in 2,5 years. With the new prices Pictorescue still leads the pack with prices that are considerably lower than its competitors and a quality that is among the best in the industry.
